Revolution through Revelation

something lies beneath what is seen is the power that can change

There are hardly anyone who doesn’t know that change is but inevitable, yet we try to barricade the same change with our biased ego, fear and insecurity. So many instances of wrong, inappropriate and unjustified events are just laying plainly in front our eyes. Yet, we choose to shut tight our eyes in a vain effort to pass through the evil.
This inefficiency of character is just because of spine less society or some long seeded escapist psyche?
Whatever is the reason behind; the solution is not so complex. Perhaps that’s why it is concealed away in innocent and purity of mind. I found that the first step is the hardest but once one masters that, everything falls in balanced pieces. What I felt:

The first step is Acceptance- The readily we accept the fact, instantly our soul and moral gets its booster doze

Humble Approach- Letting down that judgemental ego and nourishing that humane trait while feeling the emotion...is the magic that sets everything right .

Seeking the Right- Though tough but not impossible; but yes the path is risky. But then what’s life without a bit of adventure in it.

Revolution is the face of change and there is nothing better than a guilt-free sleep. The path of revolution is the one that ensure it. However small or insignificant it may look, fighting for some right cause (right is something that your soul and mind will direct you, not what society or some other person has defined it) will give ample of peace and enough reason to go on with a purpose.

What I have seen so far...each and every one of us has an elemental drive to ‘change something’ why not starting the change with ourselves...sounds fun right...let’s live it up !!!

Changing Lanes

Am not reviewing the movie but yes that was a real nice Ben flick!
I am more here to share with you, my soul friends the recent happiness I discovered. I have recently discovered that I love watching the cook shows (I am a terrible cook). It’s not that I aspire to join the ‘masterchef’ or participate in any cook show; it’s the simple fact that the whole process of cooking needs such an amount of dedication.

Right from selecting the raw sources, garnishing, adding right proportion of spices to ultimate dressing up of the dishes, the cook delicately went through the process showcasing tremendous control and at the same time impeccable love at what he was doing. I mean ….that’s the real catch there “Do what you like” compromise will be an obsolete word soon.

Life too needs that amount of dedication and love that we seldom offer. It’s not in chasing the career ladder or aiming to please everyone around. I feel it’s discovering some little wishes, some absurd dreams and few loud thinking …anything that connects to the soul.

At least got a point where I get to connect with my life (Umm!!! nowadays I walk 1 hour at night ALONE)
Do let me know your connection point.

P:S # How do you like the term ‘Soul Friend’?

Stay Happy

When Happiness Slipped ...

It was a great day. I mean right from my alarm clock singed in '7:00 am honey' to sipping this hot smoking cappuccino in this freaking winter at a naked roof ...it's awesome man!

But why am I feeling so special ? It's just a Sunday ...nothing much special about this particular Sunday. I pondered again "What's so special about this Sunday"?

The Coffee cup's warmth in my cold hand , shivering cold winds ruffling my already messy hair, a truck's honk far away...yes these are no reasons to be happy , right ? But are you so certain of it ?

What if I add another sentence to it like The Coffee cup's warmth in my cold hand , shivering cold winds ruffling my already messy hair, a truck's honk far away, I looked at my side and he drew me closer just to remind me a right company is just an embrace away.

Well am I seeing a tweak of smile there? I realized standing there 'special days' need not have to be exquisite with celebration , with people throbbing around or doing salsa together...it can be as simple as watching the stars. Aimlessly trying to figure out which constellation is Orion, laugh together at silly mistakes and just share those potato chips together saying nothing.

Just as I said when happiness Slipped "IN" ....

Cheers!

Going out-of-box of ‘Boxed life

We live in a boxed life. Well if not all most of the ‘privileged’ ones does. You might be thinking I have gone nuts. But sometime realization bites me hard …only to be soothed away by time I guess. Coming back to the point “box life”, strangely I did get some vibes urging me to throw away the cuffs and it’s-easy-this-way life.

Wondered how the sweet home is a ‘box shaped’ entity? Or for the matter of fact that hangout zone…the comfortable cubicle where our career prospects grow at a rate of inversely proportional with happiness quotient?

I was completely taken aback when I realized the uncanny resemblance with the suffocating box cramped life. When I first thought of going out and breaking the hard shells of this box …sudden fear gripped me. I am so used to this structure of living….so habituate to the hassle free uber-lifestyle. I was so scared to take my feet out of the box and dangle it freely and feel the smooth air caressing it. But the freedom, the loosening act was so tempting; it was hard to control the urge of cutting all the ties. Again contemplating the desire, priority, responsibility, maturity tried hard to mess my mind. A delusional mind that’s deciding between rational livings with irrational emotional pursuit is really hard to manage. But unlike all the time …this time I cannot be diplomatic…

A concrete decision is needed. I chose out of box living. I am going out of priorities, of guidelines and specially ‘everyone does this’ benchmark. I am going to live life in my own terms. I am going to travel a lot…I ‘m going to meet new people and occasionally am going to share some secrets …C’mon it’s ONLY ONE LIFE and we don’t have any REWIND PAUSE Button ….

Are you guys with me? (Would like to hear a ‘yes’) …

Would love to hear your idea of living J

Space Please

How nice it would be if our life had a 'space' and 'overwrite' button. Press 'space' and create a gap from distress moment while the 'overwrite' button can transform the gravest moment into a happy one.

At first I used to think why people want this so called 'space' in their life . Is not it that we are a anti-loner and always seek companionship every now and then? Slowly things got clearer.
Space is that anti-depression pill that momentarily isolates you from the trouble causing area, it does not immunize you. So doze of space must be accompanied by 'overwrite' pill.

Now this 'overwrite' button is very magical and strangely every one has a hold of it. We just need to believe that situation can be modified if we really are flexible on 'perspective' point. Now applying this overwrite requires a bit of skill . C'mon not every trouble area require pain killer, do they?
So we need to work smart and we need to blend the potion for better results. Sometime just 'ignoring' the pain area helps in 'overwriting'.

‘Kite’y Experience

I have come across many kite flyers, who irrespective of age just get excited for the game. Once my dad shared with me detail knowledge of how to ‘prepare a good kite’ to ‘how to fly it higher without touching ground’ techniques.
During my childhood, grandpa used to tell me stories of his boyish adventure and how he used to sneak pass his school corridor just to fly a kite and the consequences that followed next, usually with punishment of ‘kneel down’ and ‘caning ’.
Surprisingly the game was quite popular among girls gang. Well not as front players but mostly doing the back office job like preparing the glues, string setting, cutting etc. As I have heard from my uncles and mothers, it was a celebration indeed.

I wonder what happened to this so vibrant game. Leaving western zone of Gujarat, Rajasthan, I doubt hardly one nowadays take any interest. Can not blame them, where’s the opportunity. The skyscraper buildings, semi cloudy (smog) sky replaced kite flying with ‘need for speed II ’. Change after all is the constant element.

However, I was glad to be a spectator of a ‘kite flying competition’. I happened to visit a village, outskirt of a town called ‘Balurghat’. It was a grand event with locals pouring down, children shouting at the top of their voices accompanied by cycle bells. May be I can not write down the sensation I felt but I will try it. What I felt there was a ‘unity’ for a cause, innocence of human minds, cheerful ambience created by enthusiastic locals. In short it was brilliant.

But do you know what I enjoyed most?
When a kite which was flying high, navigated by a veteran sailor… went loose. It swung high, gave anticlockwise swirl midair and then started a ‘free fall’. Yes!! I enjoyed the freedom it showed , I enjoyed the life it lead and I witnessed the best part of kite flying; when it run loose …just out of any control.

Desperate Letter

I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me...

But I could not; I wish I could let you see my expression, But that too I could not. I know am lost and sometime I really wanted to belong to you ...just to you. I could not. Your presence comfort me in unuttered silence and I reciprocate with equally silent gestures...it perhaps got unnoticed. I was unable to show you that I know you care.
I am sure these are nothing but may be some part of those ruptured emotion which seeped through the uncontrolled mind of an Alzheimer’s meant something.

Each day you came, sat and stroked my hair while I lay passively. I could see the desperation in your eyes and yet I could not reach them, console them …I just could not. Three long years I have seen you come and go till last night.
There were confusion and wanting in you…there was life ready to enter you …I could see that. I could sense that you are tired with the regular visit with no sign of recovery; I could see your part torn in wariness, loyalty and duty for your beloved wife so much that you are forcefully withdrawing yourself from the love you deserve. The love that is waiting for you outside the door of this institution…I could see it.

My dear, love is boundless at least it should never give you a feeling of hopelessness. I am sure you will have the life that we once dreamt…but am happy if it is not with me trust me; am really happy. Before I succumb totally and bid farewell to all these bounds and emotional earthly cuffs I wanted you to know you were a special gift and though I could not tell you how much I wish to kiss you one last time...am happy .

Still, I wish I could tell you how much you mean to me...

Reflection...

As I sat by your side,
I see a girl of twenty
I see some dreams
I see some hope....

A breeze flows
and you shift a li'l
I again look at you
I see a frailing face,
Burdened with norms and regulations,
I see the hands tied , eyes moist
But, still she smiles.....

A breeze again ;
I uncomfortably look at you
I see a girl of twenty
I see her calm and composed
I see her gaze still
I see her lips parted a bit....

She stare down at me & says
'Wash me away Oh Ganges Please'

Freedom ....free from the dome of fear

Exactly as you all might be noticing the similarity between the words. I was just musing over these two words....

Fear and freedom ...so attached with one other that we contemplate it distinctly …the one without other. But my observation do fetch the very idea that they are something like twin sisters…one accelerate the other.

Definitely I will like to hear your opinion ….

And thank you so much…for keeping up with my irregularities …

Love you all.

Take care

Valentine ...the world waiting for love

Well I know it must be decade since I disappeared from blog sphere. And my apologies. At the same time I hope that all of you had a great time ...
So what did you guys do at valentine day ? The day before valentine day I watched the flock of youngsters arguing with the vendor for the sudden price rise of red rose and still happily buying them . The sign of contentment in their eyes after buying the rose, mesmerised me...
Bumped over a group who was trying hard to figure out which Multiplex theatre will still have some shows of 'My name is khan' for the valentine day....

So i guess love is in the air...
I've learnt that love is a wonderful thing and blessings since my childhood. But as I grew up I witnessed so much opposition to this Wonderful Thing'. I had seen people killing each other for the 'love of religion', seen terrorising outer state people for the name of 'some local welfare' and also seen 'Honor killing' just because some couple were in love...
so much for 'Love' ....
so this valentine I had a normal day ...just like the day before selfishly busy and demanding...

How many more Attacks needed before emerging as “Globanians”

Well this is not particularly to the attackers of Indians in Australia, but towards every individual who claims themselves to be resident of twenty first century. Who claims to be ‘modern’ and ‘literate’? I have my own reservation regarding the terms though.

Each and every day I come across at least one article which preaches reader to lead a balance life, to show compassion and kindness. Stunningly at the same time I encounter twenty more articles on Violence, Terrorism, Rape, Murder and Child abuse.

The fact is that we don’t want to leave our animal behavior; we just try to wrap it under some names like “education”, “Culture”, “modernization” blah blah!!!
International meets, memoranda sign, expansion of Global Corridor, these are terms which holds importance to very few and very few realizes the meaning ….literally very few. In countries where People fight for just a morsel of bread and other basic amenities like water and shelter, what importance this “Global market” may possibly have?

The attacks reveal nothing but the lack of sanity and humanity. We have long forgotten how to share. We have abandoned our rights in Fear. We have just become unknown citizen with some pin codes. The unfortunate part is that we lost somewhere in this “genetic evolution” our humanity.

So when the world shouts in the name of globalization, my eyes searches for that Globanian. Because I trust we all are potential candidate, just we need to evoke ourselves from the slumber of Ignorance. We just need to be what we actually are – “HUMAN”

Sometime all we need is an Ear

I am in the lobby, waiting emphatically for the verdict.
The presentation cost me seven day sleep deprivation accompanied by weird research papers and gallons of coffee. I am trying to comfort myself , yelling silently that my paper is perfect , I have cross checked the report ….I can not afford a single mistake………

At last she is on stage with a tiny list in her quivering hand (I don’t know how at this odd hour I could manage to see her hand clamping the microphone).
She announced at last - the Project goes to …………
“Mr. Shivranjan”

Thud!!! I felt the ground beneath shaking hard, ignoring the law of gravitational force
Noooooo!!!! I was desperate to move out….

Never before I felt the way towards home such insignificant; in fact everything appeared so insignificant….
I needed to tell someone…..May be I should call Akash
“Bailamos!!!......” Caller tune just acted add-on to my already sour mood.
Damn it!!! Busy in meeting. Huh!! Why am I bothering, after all am a grown up I know how to tackle myself.

Ma papa!!! my heart ache for them; like all other selfish children out there , who can afford only a week (maximum) to stay with them and remember when one is really sick.

“Tring-tring”
Hello Ma ?
“OHH Sheena your mom is downstairs you know we got a whole new set of furniture, there are some guests out there, and you remember Uncle S….
“Ummm Papa am in traffic let me call you in a hour”

Ohh God Help me!!!
It took me Thirty minutes to reach my place ….this traffic gets my nerves sometime
Reaching the door, a voice distracted me, my laundry lady waiting for me.
Didi you are so late? Her guardian tone inquired but all of a sudden I felt so comfortable in answering her then which otherwise would have irritated me.

And right from the strategy of paper work to the presentation, I vomited her all… I was so vulnerable regardless the point that she hardly understands my hardship. Through out the one sided conversation she only had made some nodding remarks, at the end the elderly lady put a hand on my head and told “it’s too late and you have undergone an already tough situation, eat something and try to have some sleep. Everything will be ok.”
At that very moment she was my friend, guardian, companion and my guiding angel. She soothed my soul with some indescribable affection.
I have always seen her loading and unloading clothes from the apartment. Little I knew about the person and never conversed beyond Hi and how much….

Some failures are far greater than winning I guess. Sometime we get so much in return just by mere compromising, Sometime all that matter is an assuring conversation, a supportive hand , two expressive eyes and an ear to listen another heart ….
If you have this, you have a wonderful bounty life; you perhaps know then, the meaning of “Life”

“Goodbye” Is Good

Sometimes “Goodbyes” are so important part of life.
It helps to understand that what is left behind is cherish able.
I think at some extent “good bye” helps to know how we are been perceived.

As I witnessed such a goodbye, I came to know that even though I had my own share of both good and bad times, but during the last few parting moments, I could only recollect the good events.

And suddenly my mind is full of contentment that yes!! everything we bypass and every moment we come across at some point of life you get the reward of those good moments shared…..

Relations have always been fascinating to me. I often wonder; how from one node of life to other we come across so many different faces….we meet…. we walk considerable distance ….and then we part . But “do we forget them”?
My answer is “no”, we can’t, because in the course of life those faces do contribute a significant role and sometime pivotal.

Farewell is such an occasion where we vow to keep those faces safeguard and may be some other sunny day we would recollect them without whom some chapters of the book called "life" would have been incomplete.

So I insist “goodbye is good”. And just a “see ya later”

I wish "February" from you,
Let love grant us Freedom :

From Pain
From Fear

Communication "Dil Se"

Human have been granted the most amazing method to communicate.
And I am not saying about electronic media….

I am saying about the infinite expression we hold in ourselves.
Is not it fascinating to observe the infinite expressions; just seeing it without trying to decipher anything?

Recently I went to lunch with my friend in a food joint.
As he was going through the menu, I was going through the charming faces present there.
I saw a family hurriedly taking their portions and whispering some untold saga...
Noticed two good friends laughing their heart aloud remembering some old joke

And just then in a corner seat, my eyes caught upon a very good looking couple.
They were communicating through the language of soul.

Now you all may be wondering “what’s the big deal in it, for a couple to be in love and they are conversing”?
Nothing but that they can not speak neither can they hear .They were conversing using sign language (I prefer call it language of Soul)

Their each finger was expressing thousand words... I wonder I have ever used so many emotions and words …..
Apparently their world may seem silent but in reality they had the most uninterrupted and heart full sounds, music, words and natural expressions …..I could see it, in their eyes….

The best part is that they have a little daughter, who can speak and hear. At the same time she knew the perfect ways to communicate with her parents. It was such a heart whelming to see the proud parents as they were expressing their love in that cute li’l one.

I just could not help myself but to see them and trying to feel the essence of their true heart. In this course I smiled and got back a sweet nod from them …..may be a small "hi"

Now I am so baffled … I am thinking for quite a time now that I use so many words to speak. But this incident did teach me how to use “the silent” words. I am yet to learn it though completely.

What does u say when somebody asks you “how are u?”
Possibly “I m fine, what about u “or “great, thank you” or “okay, how u”

Don’t you guys think we have such few options (word choice) or that we are conversing so stereotypically?

The mind storming questions are
When did we stop to speak from heart that now we are left with alphabets, sentences and few idioms ….? When did we stop to speak through eyes ….? When did we stop to be “us” just us?

Give it a Thought!!!!!

I dream Beautiful World !!!

How often you have a good morning start , even in Monday's?
Okay that's a question posed to be answered seriously .
Frankly speaking i don't always have a good Mondays...irrespective the fact that i try to motivate myself at no ends.
But the cozy rugs and blankets are nowadays posing a threat to my inner motivation [(:)]

Anyways I have a new neighbor moved, quite recently . A couple with a cute kid . For sometime I have seen them playing badminton at their lawn when I return
from office. I always pass a smile diligently to them  .
Yesterday morning I thought that its high time and I  really need to take care of my own garden space ...
I stepped  out with all the required assistance (mechanical) towards "mission garden" .

After a while I heard a faint but sweet voice ...I turned around to see my sweet lilttle neighbor ....she waved me and I returned  it back to her ...
She asked me my name and followed a long conversation ending up her at my garden.

She told me garden is about love (she informed me that her mom told her so) ...its about the way you want your garden to look...
let me put her words as it is

"aap jitna pyaar karogey ...utna jyada ful ayega" ( the more you love your plants ...the more flower will blossom)
I was taken aback with her wisdom ...she is such an angel....

I thought about it for long ....the innocence she have now ...how long will the world allow her or more precisely how we the adults will allow her to retain...
She have no words in her dictionary as "hate" neither the word "terrorist" or "riot"
And may be that is why she is so beautiful and divine ....
i realized it doesn't take much to be like her ...except to free our mind from this word "hate"
many of us are trying hard each days ...

Does it take so much effort to be happy?
to be able to feel others pain ...?
to love ?

Not much just we need to cut out the word "I" and "MY"

whats harm in trying to built a beautiful world ?And If it is a dream then
I do dream .......

Power Unleashed

It’s a bright morning again here at Delhi. Though I must admit the winter is set ready to embrace all with its magical cold breeze. By the way I am a big fan of winter .

Winter always reminds me of warmth. Warmth in stylish jackets, in woolen pullovers and of course warmth in all those hang out places ….

I am feeling lot positive vibes nowadays. And strangely am getting up in the morning with a smile on my face; presumably for “happy dreams" last night.

I was quite amused about this positive change with "no tension" like eerie feelings.

Why so? I questioned myself on this particular afternoon over a cup of tea.

I realized....

.. this is happy morning because I wanted it to be happy

this is a bright cheerful day because I wanted it to be so and suddenly I felt myself so powerful, so enigmatic …..

May be coz somewhere in my childhood memories I had happy play time during winter vacations …and so winters got synonymous with happy moments for me …

once again illuminates the idea how strong we are mentally …how absolutely enormous power we have to change our surroundings …just we don’t use them.

And I vowed myself over that cup of tea :

  • Am not going to think of any sentences that start with “what if I had….”
  • Am not going to repent on any thing …that’s a learning experience
  • Am going to pamper myself with beautiful dreams . May be I can not fulfill all of them but yes I can give a try and definitely I will succeed at least in couple of them
  • And lastly am going to explore my inner self ….to know who am I ? And I know that’s the toughest of the lot.

Well that’s all about me …but don’t forget to share with me what’s your best season and why and what’s your stake on this

Have bright moments!!!

Happy - Answers

What is an Obstacle ?

Not a very hard to answer we all face them in quite many ranges in everyday life .

Interestingly dictionary answers it this way :

“An obstacle is something, material or non material, that stands in the way of literal or figurative progress”

It suddenly appeared to me that the answer is pessimistic …something which induces a low down feeling .......

Why not giving them a new perspective and follow them . I am going to add a new view point. And I will be happy if you all write up some new optimistic opinions or anything you feel like to share. I will add them serial wise .

  • I think Obstacle is a way of knowing one’s hidden potential in order to win any Challenges or any hindrance
  • I think Obstacle is the gap between living life and leading the life. [Contributed by life is good]
  • Obstacles and our attempts at getting through it make us appreciate our lives much better. So I would say Obstacles are like stimulants to a beautiful life [Contributed by Arv ]

  • Obstacle is the last test on route 2 success. I believe, if there comes, at some stage, an obstacle in my path then behind it lies surely my goal. [ Contributed by Arunima ]

  • Obstacle is that bit of reality which trips you up when you're dreaming. OR it can also be that challenge you negotiate in order to realise your dream. [Contributed by Sucharita Sarkar]

  • Obstacles make our journeys worthwile..They are not stumbling Blocks rather stepping stones... [Contributed by The Rebel ]
  • obstacles bring adventure to our lives and...also obstacles bring us close to God as we seek to his blessings in difficult times. [Contributed by its_me ]
  • An obstacle is the difference in the ordinary and the extra ordinary..those who dont cross it are ordinary, and those who do are EXTRAordinary. :) [Contributed by sagarika]
  • Obstacles are LIFE asking you to wake up, be on your toes, be more creative. obstacles are LIFE's way of telling us to jump over theres alannd higher, greener and fresher. obstacles are LIFE's way of telling us that we deserve much more [Contributed by jyotsana]
  • I think an obstacle is in the mind ..It doesnt really exist in a material sense [Contributed by Lakshmi]
  • For me OBSTACLE
    is an Absolutly Tackable thing.
some times we do feel like its enuff nothing cant be done but your parents , freinds or even god helps you in one or other way.

life wudnt have been xiting without it .. all good cant be digestable [Contributed by Subu's Blog]

I realized that a question can have many correct answers ...its depend on how we look on to the matter. Isn't it ?

So what 's your definition about obstacle ? I will be waiting to hear from you .

Till then take care
