“Expression required:”–URGENTLY

Happiness is not granted
There is a war to get it. I have one weapon which may help to win the war (at least worth trying). The weapon is called “Expression”.Right expression expressed well in right time can do wonder.

So express right away when you have one. Life is too short to keep expression pending…

Surprisingly the word expression consist of “Express” which also means fast (like courier, logistics etc) so expression must have to do something with spontaneously

I have seen people, who wished,

“Had I said sorry”, “if I had said then - I miss you” and also like “if I had said -don’t go” …wish I said “love you”…….

But when they realize it finally it is already too late …

Very few lucky get the second chance!!!!

I realized to open up the gate of expression requires lot of effort and that is because you really need to surrender yourself to your inner self. Am still fighting the war where sometime I manage to win and that is a beautiful self where I can truly relate myself …..

I guess may be that’s why I like the punch line “express yourself”.

So what‘s the wait for? If you are irritate …express that ….if you are happy …your glowing smiley face should indicate that …And if you are in love let the person know and if you are sad let your tears strengthen you ; revealing oneself is an art and not hard to learn it trust me.

Because more we express ourselves …more we get to know of ourselves and more immense potential we get hold of …..

Waiting for the right time?

Frankly speaking the right time is “right now”……

aaahhhh!!! thats soo refreshing....so profound... so true....
the medium of xpression.. words!

i m not feeling much these days. i have realised the importance of being emotionally and spiritually stagnant. while working your way through the mad world.
'sthir'!! 'shaant'!!

some beautifull and inspiring words.. :)

I specially liked the first line...it has a solid Expression of aggression.

Yes, I know I have missed lots of chances to express myself in the right time.May be I will never get that second chance. I regret for that.
But, on the other hand I have regret for things I have expressed or said that I shouldn't have. And may be I will never get a second chance to mend the damage.

The problem is not expressing the right things in the right time; but deciding what is right and when is the right time.

By the way I am very much eager to see how u look in a Irritated face.

You are so right!! I blew one BIG chance some time back to say something to somebody. And she is no more now. I think I'll regret it as long as I live.

So these days.. it's Expressions all the way :)

awesome! My motto exactly.
I so firmly believe on expressing oneself.
I couldnt have articulated it better! :-)

Nitu said...

You have articulated so well. Wonderful thought again.

Sucharita Sarkar said...

another lovely thoughtful post! express your expressions expressly - how true is that! It is definitely important to release our emotions at that moment, otherwise the pressure cooker may burst, may it not?

Stacey said...

How very true, expressing ourself is very important, from how we exspress through talking or how we exspress through gestures...

Very well written post, take care :-)

Sorry but presenting something contrary to what are saying...

Its kinda funny. I expressed. Got disbelief in return. I have got a second chance. I expressed again. Feels like there is disbelief again. I am sure what I expressed was true and pure, but still...

Indrani said...

So true Sayani, one must express. And expressing the right thing at right time is something one learns by experience.

A very well written post, you have expressed well.

Yes!! There is NO time table to wait on to express oneself!!

I have missed out on a lot from not expressing myself!! This was great!!!

You are so right. In the moment, JUST DO IT! Especially if it is good. If you have something nice to say to someone, PLEASE, say it. It is done so seldomly and it can completely change someone's life..

That sounds so cheesy, and so simplistic and so unreal, but it is completely true...

LOVED THIS POST! Kayce

So true - emotions should be expressed as and when one experiences them - repressed emotions are the root cause of pshychological problems. Beautifully written :)

Phew that was sooo deeply thought...talk of the power of expression-your post itself!!!...i never looked at expression the way you did..."express"-the ability to be fast with it-great outlook and makes one introspect for sure...neat piece!

I like this post very much. My father has always told me that I "wear my heart on my sleeve."

Expressing myself is not an option. I never learned to hide my emotions. My face shows it, my voice changes, my eyes, my body language. My emotions are easy to read.

I remember one time I was with my cousins in Maryland, visiting with them. We were in a gift shop and there was a cross stitch pattern that I thought was beautiful. My cousin wanted to buy it for me, but I didn't want her to spend the money. She said, "If you had the money, would you buy it?" I knew that if I said I would buy it, then she'd get it for me, so I lied and said, "No, I wouldn't buy it."

At that moment, I literally felt my face flicker the emotion and my cousin said, "THAT WAS A LIE!" She was right and she bought it for me no matter my protests of her kindness.

Emotions are meant to be shared, as long as we keep other people in mind as well.

Not really free sayani... Its just that if it always had to be disbelief then why did I ever make the effort to express it again. :(

ufff...how could u think so deep...i wish i had the art of thinking and expressing like u.
ur post has forced me to think about how many times i hv lost a person or situation just b'coz of my shyness to express myself.
Bt u kno wat sometimes its better not to express ur feelings..............

Anonymous said...

Sometimes its better that feelings are left unexpressed... Especially when you know the result is going to be pain for all...
